Acision appoints new Chief Technical Officer
Louis Corrigan joins market leading messaging and charging company, Acision.
[USPRwire, Mon Oct 22 2007] Acision today announces the appointment of Louis Corrigan as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), with Corrigan assuming the position immediately. Acision is the messaging and charging company of choice for over 300 network operators and service providers worldwide. As CTO, Corrigan will be responsible for defining and communicating Acision’s technology strategy.
With over 25 years’ experience in the telecoms industry, Corrigan has spent the last few years in the CTO role of Accuris Networks. Prior to that he held the position of CTO with both Mobile Cohesion and Logica Mobile Networks where he was responsible for the development of technical strategy and the introduction of new products and technologies. He has also held senior technical and consulting roles in Aldiscon, PKI and Retix.
Having worked within the telecoms industry for so many years, Corrigan has been involved in the definition, standardization, development, and initial deployment of a large number of network technologies. His experience includes extensive work with mobile operators to evolve new ideas and with standard industry bodies including ETSI, WAP Forum, OMA and 3GPP. Corrigan was heavily involved in the development and deployment of the first commercial SMS products.
