In 2014 Asian fast food, bakery products, burger, ice cream, chicken and convenience stores fast food were available, while other fast food did not yet have a presence.
Competitive Landscape
Thanks to the largest category of convenience stores fast food, CP All PCL dominated with half of total foodservice value in 2014, with a considerable gap to second- and third-placed players Central Restaurants Group and Yum Restaurant International Thailand Co Ltd. CP All PCL already achieved 8,000 branches of 7-Eleven convenience stores nationwide. The company implemented an integrated strategy to maintain its leading position. Central Restaurants Group manages many brands across categories, including Pepper Lunch in Asian fast food, Auntie Anne’s and Mister Donut in bakery products fast food, KFC in chicken fast food and Cold Stone in ice cream fast food.
