Peter Culley, founder of Spatial Affairs Bureau, the international award winning architecture, landscape, interior and product design studio, has been appointed to the jury for the Los Angeles Residential Architecture Awards 2021.
[USPRwire, Mon Feb 15 2021] Peter Culley, founder of Spatial Affairs Bureau, the international award winning architecture, landscape, interior and product design studio, has been appointed to the jury for the Los Angeles Residential Architecture Awards 2021.
Culley's most recent projects include The Metropolitan Museum of Art for the redeveloped Fifth Avenue Plaza with Olin Partnership, Crosstown Arts and Crosstown Concourse, a 1.5m sq ft former warehouse in Memphis and the AIA 2019 national winning project, Richmond Bridge Park, Virginia, and LA Department of Cultural Affairs 2019 Art and Food Triennial.Culley previously worked with Rick Mather Architects, overseeing the $200m Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and London's South Bank Centre, and with Kathryn Gustafson as project architect for the National Botanic Garden of Wales, and the National Heritage Lottery Crystal Palace Park, with John Lyall Architects.
Culley also works on visionary artists residences, and is completing a live/work compound for an internationally renowned Royal Academician London-based artist in 2021. He is a UK registered architect (ARB), a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), international associate AIA member in the US, serves on the UK's RIBA Visiting Board for Architecture School Accreditation, and is a Passive House consultant.
The 2021 AIALA Residential Architecture Awards is open to work at all scales. AIALA Members and Non-Members may submit projects located in the greater Los Angeles area AND/OR AIALA Members may submit residential work completed anywhere in the world.
