Im-Perot, the US Independent Presidential Candidate 2008???

Could it be Imperato for President 2008 or Im-Perot for President 2008? Rumor has it that Imperato has been seen with Russell Varney, previous Campaign Manager for Ross Perot at a Sarasota Beach resort.

[USPRwire, Sat Sep 30 2006] The two met for several hours at the resort with on-lookers reporting that the two were talking and appeared to be collaborating.

Varney was also the former Reform Party Chairman during the mid to late 90's.

Could this be the first step of Imperato rallying the Ross Perot campaign for the 2008 race? If so, what a story that would be. That would give Imperato the national spotlight and the credibility of all independents around the country.

Ross Perot gained 18 percent of popular vote in 1992 and 8 percent in 1996 and Varney helped him do it.

Also could other Perot political participants could be collaborating with Imperato who is the leading independent candidate and probably the only serious candidate in the country?

Imperato has talked about collaborating the Green Party's efforts with the Libertarian party's efforts to become one independent party for the 2008 race and his nomination.

Discussions have taken place with Bill Redpath the Libertarian chairman, and with members of the Green Party's seven chairpersons. In addition, Imperato's representatives met with the Green Party at their recent convention in Lake Tahoe.

This could be a serious run for Imperato from both parties to increase ballot access capabilities or will he do it on his own and maybe hire his ex campaign mangers for Ross Perot.

Imperato has the best shot of winning in the event that he brings the Perot support he would the next president
