Conservative Independent Imperato Participates in Aspen Film Festival

From the Aspen Film Festival (www.aspenfilm.org) 2008 Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato commented on one of the festival's most controversial films, "Jesus Camp."

The documentary "Jesus Camp" is about a North Dakota camp that teaches kids Christian values. The filmmakers show how the camp leaders try to integrate these beliefs into their young campers' lives.

"While visiting Aspen I had the pleasure to see the opening of the documentary 'Jesus Camp'. I would like the American people to know that this documentary is very controversial but very on target.

The film's controversy is based on one of its premises that the evangelical church is organizing to control the voting power through the belief in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
