Singer/Songwriter Announces The Musical Messenger Tour

Nationwide Headliner Set to Kick Off in Raleigh, NC

[USPRwire, Sun Jan 15 2006] Spiritual-Jazz recording artist Dolores "DeeJazz" Jackson (http://www.deejazz.com) today announced a 15-month fundraising campaign to support her musical production, titled, "The Musical Messenger Tour." The cross-country tour will be the singer's first. The campaign runs from December 20, 2005 through March 1, 2007 and will also raise money for The Social Phobia & Social Anxiety Association. DeeJazz, who is an internationally acclaimed, songwriter/producer, has communicated that she will accept donations from individuals and organizations around the world.

"The Musical Messenger Tour" is a first-of-its-kind, cooperative venture. 10% of all donations will be given to the singer's charity of choice, The Social Phobia & Social Anxiety Association SP/SAA. Social anxiety is the third largest psychological problem in the United States today. This type of anxiety affects 15 million Americans in any given year and many have no idea of their diagnosis.

"The time has come for humanity to wake up to the truth of their identity as Spiritual beings," says DeeJazz. "And, I believe the Musical Messenger Tour will play an integral role in this awakening."

The tour begins on April 1, 2007, in Raleigh, NC and concludes approximately 210 days in New York. The Musical Messenger Tour will include stops in Norfolk, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, Detroit, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Los Angeles. To further ignite her fundraising effort, the artist has announced that she is giving away an autographed copy of her debut CD, "A Musical Messenger," to all donors contributing $40.00 or more to the fundraising campaign.

"I am really excited about The Musical Messenger Tour because it will help people see themselves in a new light," commented DeeJazz. "This production will allow people to experience their innate Divinity. That is the focus of the tour," she concluded.

The organization of "The Musical Messenger Tour" is a 15-month project. The first eight months will consist of full time planning, networking, and promoting. The following seven will include auditions, rehearsals, and then the live performances which will include commissioned, professional, background singers, dancers, and musicians.

Each stop on the tour will include "The Wake-shop," a three-hour presentation facilitated by the singer's sister, Author, Hattie Pembrook. The presentation will be held the following day of each performance.
