[USPRwire, Mon Nov 26 2007] Eric Pillmore, the former Senior Vice President of Corporate Governance at Tyco International, Ltd., will be the featured speaker at Grand Canyon University sponsored by The Ken Blanchard Executive MBA program. Mr. Pillmore will be speaking on “Repairing Broken Trust: How Tyco Built a New Culture,” at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 6, 2007. A luncheon reception will follow. Between 2002 and 2007, Pillmore worked closely with the Board of Directors and the Tyco senior leadership team to transform Tyco from a company with poor governance into a corporate governance leader. These efforts resulted in Tyco being named as the most improved U.S. company in the governance area. Topics covered during the session will include restoring confidence in leadership, the role of ethics in business, successful corporate governance and establishing a culture of organizational service.
Mr. Pillmore's presentation will be followed by “Implications for Organizational Delivery of Service,” presented by Teri Traaen, Ed.D., D.P.A., consultant and former HR executive for the cities of Scottsdale, Tucson and Peoria. She will discuss the related implications and impact on organizational delivery of products and services when an organization is undergoing culture transformation.
