The Preiss Company Listed Among Triangle’s Top Apartment Property Management Companies
Raleigh real estate company continues to redefine the student housing market with latest achievement
[USPRwire, Tue Jun 12 2007] The Preiss Company (“TPCO”), the largest provider of off-campus student housing for North Carolina State University, Clemson University, and UNC Charlotte and the second largest provider for the University of Texas in Austin, was recently recognized as one of the Triangle’s top Apartment Property Management Companies by Triangle Business Journal. Companies appearing on The List were ranked by the number of units managed in the Triangle.
Company Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Donna Preiss, is proud of her inclusion on The List and explains that TPCO continues to redefine the student housing market by setting the “gold” standard of off-campus housing. “The Preiss Company continues to lead the industry in the development of new technologies, tools, and strategies for the student housing industry,” says Preiss. “We’ve just formed an Acquisition and Development Team, which will focus on the market research and identification of key value-add acquisitions over the next three years.”
Preiss adds that the company’s objective is to grow their portfolio by approximately $150,000,000 in acquisitions or development during 2007. The Preiss Company currently manages 515 units and 9 properties at North Carolina State University. Some of the properties managed include University Woods, University Glen, University Meadows, University Oaks, and Redwolf Crossing Townhomes. TPCO recently acquired University Village Austin, a 1,152-bed student housing project at the University of Texas in Austin. It was the company’s first student housing acquisition in Texas.
