Silver Summit Properties recently received a silver award at the 2007 Best of 50+ Housing Awards sponsored by the National Association of Homebuilders 50+ Housing Council.

[USPRwire, Mon Jul 02 2007] Silver Summit Properties received one of the top honors at the 2007 Best of 50+ Housing Awards sponsored by the National Association of Homebuilders 50+ Housing Council.

The jury spent two days behind closed doors evaluating the many excellent entries in each category, submitted from NAHB members nationwide. Silver Summit’s “The Grass really is Greener on this side – but you don’t have to spend your Saturdays mowing it” ad won the Silver award for full-page black & white advertising.

“This ad draws a reader’s attention, stands out in the paper, and gives good information,” according to the jurors’ comments. “Its visuals draw your attention and tell a little about the interior and exterior, show product diversity, and how to get there. This ad has all the elements of a good ad and doesn’t look cluttered.”

Designed by Solveig White of Simply White Design, “Grass Is Greener” has run in magazines, newspapers and as a postcard direct mail campaign since the summer of 2006.

“We are honored to have received an award on a national level,” said Kimberly Kenney of Silver Summit Properties, LLC. “To be a small company, we have an incredible team of hard-working individuals who give their very best to every aspect of their work. They truly believe that the Grass is Greener at Silver Summit, which has had a positive impact on the people who purchase their homes from us.”

Silver Summit Properties, LLC has communities throughout Georgia. The “Grass Is Greener” ad is specific to Silver Summit at Flat Shoals in Conyers, Georgia, a community of 64 ranch condominium homes with maintenance-free exteriors, stepless entry and open, inviting interiors.

Silver Summit also is building maintenance-free mountain villas at Silver Summit at Mountain Park in Dahlonega, Georgia; and resort-style ranch villas at Silver Summit at Hidden Harbor located within the gates of Harbor Club at Lake Oconee. An enclave of four estate homes with an emphasis on outdoor living is located in Roswell, Georgia.
