[USPRwire, Wed May 30 2007] McCar Homes is pleased to announce that two agents were recently promoted to STAR status -- Heather Romaine and Erica Turner. McCar STARs is a new on-site agent program that mentors new agents in training. STARs are chosen for their outstanding work in everything related to sales.
“The STARs program is just another of McCar Homes’ many efforts to build a solid, first-rate sales team. By identifying our strongest team members and allowing them to mentor our new team members, we hope to create a successful system of learning, nurturing and growth”, said Tom Ware, President of Sales and Marketing.
“Our STARs are our agents that have a proven track record and know McCar best, we could not think of a better way to train new agents than by using our most experienced sales agents,” said Ware.
STAR stands for Sales, Training/Team, Agent and Resource. The STAR is a mentor that is paired with an agent in training. The STAR is shadowed by a trainee through a six week program that focuses on sales procedures and techniques, cross training, financing and McCar’s sales software program. The STAR gives valuable feedback to their Sales Manager on the trainee’s progress. Each week a progress report is filled out by the STAR on the trainee’s strengths and weaknesses.
Erica Turner, who has been in real estate sales for two years, is the STAR at Stonegate and Weston Place. “Erica is one of our most experienced sales agents. She brings a passion for real estate that comes through in everything that she does. She is especially skilled at customer service and paying attention to the details,” said Carla Ruff, Regional Sales Manager of Raleigh.
Heather Romaine, who has been in real estate sales for three years, is the STAR at Carramore. “Heather was chosen as a STAR because of her exceptional performance. Leadership and excellence are hallmarks of Heather’s career; she has several professional affiliations and memberships and is extremely knowledgeable about the industry. Additionally she has a great attitude and is a pleasure to work with. I am delighted that Heather is a STAR,” said Ruff.
