SCC ??" Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas SA was the branded leader within bottled water with a 13% retail value share in 2015. The company owns the leading still bottled water brand, Luso. This brand is perceived by Portuguese consumers to be of high quality and is even recognised for helping in case of renal problems. In 2015 the company saw a large increase in its retail value share thanks to consumers shifting from private label to branded products. This was also thanks to the ongoing positive effect of its sales of 7-litre packaging, which the company launched in 2013. It was still the only company to offer this format in 2015.
