Seedaneed Just Finished There First Back to School Drive for Foster Kids of the Local Area
SeedaNeed launched the back to school supply drive to show individuals how easy it is to make a difference in lives. The drive was a huge success and it was all because people took the idea and ran with it.
[USPRwire, Thu Aug 06 2009] SeedaNeed.com is a good deed organization that has been launched to do good deeds Nation wide, and eventually worldwide. The non-profit organization is a web based program that helps people first recognize how easy it is to change a life by doing good things, and secondly helps users track the good deeds by supplying SeedaNeed Good Deed cards at no cost. The SeedaNeed Good Deed cards have an ID number on the card, the ID is entered to the site seedaneed.com, and the user leaves a comment about the good deed, and then passes the card along. This allows an ongoing string of good deeds that can be watched and tracked for the life of the card.
The one month drive started in late June and was completed last week on July 30th. The SeedaNeed team headed up by Eddie Struckman the project founder, partnered up with the Missouri Chapter 12 Foster and Adoption team to make sure all there students had the supplies needed for this year.
The donations were all from local employees of corporations that just had a heart to give. “Its easy to go to the store and spend $10 on supplies when you know its going to impact so many people… its all about the big picture… its all about helping people… it’s that simple” Said Eddie Struckman
The team raised thousands of supplies for the students; the students will be able to have all the supplies they need for the 09/10 school year. The SeedaNeed team has a desire to teach everyone how easy it is to make an impact.
