About The Balsa Gliders:
The Balsa Gliders are an unlikely indie-pop collective. They hold down day jobs in medicine, law and banking during the day, have growing families and are pushing 40. But they have shared a passion for indie pop since the early 1990s in Chapel Hill, and 10 years ago, they stopped listening to indie rock and started playing it, culminating with a debut album (Cookout) produced by ex-Squirrel Nut Zipper Ken Mosher that earned 4.5 stars in AMG AllMusicGuide.
