Digital Rodeo Closes Out CRS-40 Week with Late Night Jam Session

Artists Cut Loose With Favorite Cover Songs, Give 'Musical Thanks' to 40 Years of Radio Support

[USPRwire, Wed Apr 01 2009] and Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc.® celebrated the official conclusion of this year's 40th anniversary of Country Radio Seminar® with a late night, cover-songs-only jam session at Cadillac Ranch on Friday night, March 6.

The show, billed as "The 40th Anniversary Jam: A Musical Thanks to Radio," featured nearly two-dozen artists performing their favorite cover songs from the last 40 years. The two-and-a-half hour set included performances from: Kate and Kacey, Danielle Peck, Jimmy Wayne, Sunny Sweeney, Darryl Worley, Emily West, Jamie O'Neal, Brady Seals, Chuck Wicks, Andy Griggs, Crystal Shawanda, KingBilly, Julianne Hough, Mark Wills, Amanda Wilkinson, David Nail, Emerson Drive, Adam Gregory, Chris Young, Jessica Harp, James Otto, Mandy Barnett and Blake Shelton. Shelton was joined by girlfriend Miranda Lambert at the end of the night for the Bellamy Brothers' classic "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body."

CRS volunteers were easily spotted everywhere throughout the week in bright red CRS-40/ t-shirts.
