Better Bathrooms cuts delivery costs for consumers

As an ongoing commitment to provide its customers with the best possible service and great prices, Better Bathrooms has announced it is to overhaul its complete delivery service, from price cuts through to new services and improved website functionality.

The first major change sees its delivery costs slashed to many parts of the UK, with large deliveries to areas such as Northern Scotland, now reduced by £30. Delivery costs to Northern and the Republic of Ireland have also see significant reductions, with prices coming down by over £50, no matter the quantity of items being ordered. Regarding the price cuts, a spokesman for Better Bathrooms said “As an online business, we have a huge potential client base all over the UK and we needed to ensure that our delivery costs were affordable to everyone. Although we have always offered the cheapest prices on all our products, our delivery charges were an area of concern, and were pushing some of our customers over their budgets. At a time of recession, we felt we had to go the extra mile and try and help our customers in any way we could, and a reduction in our delivery charges seemed like the obvious way forward. Despite the cuts, we will be continuing to offer the very best delivery service, with no compromise on quality.”

As well as a reduction in their standard delivery charges, Better Bathrooms has also cut the cost of its Next Day Delivery service, which now means that for a small surcharge of just £14.95, its customers can have their bathroom suites delivered the very next day for more than half the previous charge. “We understand that our customers want to get their bathroom projects underway as soon as possible, so an affordable next day delivery service is really important to them. With many DIY stores on the high street allowing customers to walk in off the street and take away products that same day, we felt it was important that we offered an equivalent service, but instead of having to struggle getting items in the back of their cars, our customers can get their bathroom products delivered to their door within 24 hours of ordering.”

The final part of Better Bathrooms’ new delivery strategy sees the introduction of online order tracking to their website, giving their customers the ability to check on the status of their delivery within 48 hours of placing their order. The interactive, and highly visual tracking facility, has propelled Better Bathrooms to the next level in terms of its online customer experience and overall quality of service.

The combination of the new online tracking service and its reduction in delivery charges, has given Better Bathrooms a significant edge over its competitors and firmly coincides with its company slogan of Better Prices, Better Service, Better Bathrooms.
