Larry Dunlap, managing partner of Haircolorxperts (, has announced that the salon will host Help A Child ??" Save A Dog, a cut-a-thon on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m at the Cary salon, located in The Arboretum at 133 Weston Pkwy. All proceeds from the event will benefit Wilderwood Service Dogs, an organization providing dogs to children with spectrum disorders such as autism and anxiety. The event will include food and fun for customers, who can receive a new holiday haircut by a professional stylist with a donation of 20 dollars or more to Wilderwood. Donations to Wilderwood are tax deductable and will benefit a local boy diagnosed with autism and anxiety, providing him with a dog, who will be trained to keep him safe and comfort him in times of anxiety.

“We are excited to lend a helping hand to such a great cause,” said Dunlap. “By providing assistance to Wilderwood Service Dogs, we will be able to help a local boy just in time for the holiday season. We look forward to serving this cause, and we encourage everyone to join us.”
