Ann Arbor Home Inspection Company Moves to Digital Reports

The  Buyer's Inspector LLC, an Ann Arbor home inspection company, recently moved to digital delivery of inspection reports and photographs. The reports are created onsite during the inspection and include notes on the home's condition as well as maintenance and improvement recommendations for the future.

"For many years we've been considering computer generated reports but until recently it seemed that most formats shortchanged the buyer on depth of information." said Patrick Lyons, Inspector and owner of the company. "We've now found a format we feel provides the same level of detail as our hand written reports but with the convenience of a computerized document that is much easier to share." Lyons concluded.

The Ann Arbor home inspection company focuses on home inspections in Washtenaw County but also serves home buyers in Livingston County, Western Wayne County and Western Oakland County. They pride themselves in providing a thorough inspection and can also provide termite reports, radon tests, and reports on well and septic systems.
 
There is currently no licensing requirement for home inspectors in Michigan. However, Patrick Lyons is a licensed builder and a long time member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, the standard setting organization for the profession.
 
The Buyer's Inspector is one of Ann Arbor's oldest home inspection companies. Patrick Lyons has been performing home inspections since 1986 and the company has provided ASHI level inspections to over 6,000 real estate buyers. Patrick Lyons also is a founding member of the Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI and the Michigan Association of Home Inspectors.
