Add-On for Steam Cleaners Removes Chewing Gum, Fast

Daimer Industries, Inc.®, a major supplier and worldwide exporter of commercial cleaning products, announced gum-removal add-on kits for six of its most popular KleenJet® vapor steam cleaners. The kits can remove up to 500 pieces of gum per hour and provide an additional source of income for operators of steam cleaners.

"By combining a kit with one of our floor steam cleaners, cleaning professionals can expand their income by removing messy gum from a variety of hard surfaces," said Matthew Baratta, Daimer.com spokesman.

Gum Removal Kits for Steam Cleaners

The kits are available for the following Daimer's KleenJet® steam cleaners: the Mega 1000CV and CVP; the Supreme 3000CV and CVP; and Ultra 5000CV and Ultra 5000CVP. (Versions of these machines can also be purchased with the gum-removal kit pre-bundled.)

Each kit features special chewing-gum removal components, such as a steam vac squeegee with a stainless steel brush and a bottle of specially-formulated gum-dissolving chemical concentrate. The gum-removal kits for steam cleaners are effective on a variety of surfaces including: concrete, cement, sidewalks, parking lots, pavers, walkways, and some indoor floors.

Though steam pressure washers are also effective at removing gum, the machines expel large quantities of water and not practical for many applications.
