440V Germ-Killing Steam Cleaner Stop Super Bugs

In recent tests by a national facility, the technology proved effective against a hospital acquired infection (HAI) known as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA. The new ATIS® KleenJet 8344-360 CP supports 440 volts of power.

440 Volts of HAI-Stopping Power

HAI microbes, such as MRSA, killed nearly 50,000 people and cost more than $8 billion to treat in 2006, according to a recent study quoted in Medical News Today. In many of the cases, the infections could have been prevented with proper antiseptic practices.

In current MRSA/ATIS® lab testing, the Daimer® technology found in its ATIS® steam cleaner line demonstrated log reductions of 5.378, a near perfect score. ATIS® has also been shown in previous tests to provide comparable effectiveness on non-hospital germs including food poisoning organisms, such as Listeria monocytogene and Salmonella cholerasuis. The technology is also effective on mold.

Daimer®'s 120 psi 8344-360 CP steam cleaner can produce temperatures of 329ºF. The machine includes a 14-liter boiler capacity. ATIS® antiseptic architecture is built into the boilers.

The 8344-360 CP steam cleaner is configured for 60 Hz, 440V, 3 phase power.
