[USPRwire, Wed Jun 27 2018] The BIMForum brings together architects, builders, engineers and owners in the AEC industry at the 2018 BIMForum, from September 24 to 26, 2018 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Nevada. The entire purpose of the event is to explore case studies to develop the industry performance, by adopting the standard as well as the best practices, and integration of latest technologies and process. BIMForum encourages proposals to thoughtfully consider how project stakeholders have addressed any of the following content areas in a compelling, innovative way: Lean, Project Delivery, Productivity, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Contracts, Trade Coordination, Workforce, Research, Metrics, Advances in Technology, and LOD. The deadline for submission was way long back on March 23rd, 2018.
The purpose of the event put forward by BIMForum is to provide outstanding educational sessions for AECO professionals and executives. The two-and-a-half day event with multiple track format emphasis on topics that reflects the present and future issues faced in the industry. The project-based case studies that come with best practices, challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned in the industry shall be given special consideration.
The BIMForum requests the owner to be in the presentation team or at least include a statement from the owner if he/she is unavailable for the presentation. Including the owner or his statement in the presentation is to provide the authenticity of the best practices and quantifiable outcomes being achieved. In the selection process, the vendor proposals which include an Architect, Engineer, Contractor or an Owner are scored higher. The presentations with sales-pitch for products and services would be avoided.
