118 trades is ready to triple sales team

Daniel Corby, CEO and founder of 118trades has announced plans to triple the size of its sales team as it aims to cover the UK by December 2006

[USPRwire, Thu Jul 27 2006] Daniel Corby, Founder and CEO of 118 trades, the UK's leading directory service of tradespeople and businesses with checkable references has announced plans to triple the size of the UK business from September 2006.

118 trades was founded in 2005 by Daniel Corby, and the business has been an astounding success. With close to 40,000 active members already and 70% UK coverage as at July 2006, you might think Daniel Corby would be contented.

Not so.

"I am absolutely convinced we can acheive total UK coverage by December 2006 and then consider a European roll out for 2007. 118 trades last month announced the appointment of business veteran, Richard Allan to the board as Chairman, and this has significantly strengthened the Management team. Daniel Corby, has now taken more time to develop and grow the group, whilst day to day operations are now handled by Bradley Chapman, Commercial Director, who joined the business in June 2005 following roles with Zenith Conservatories and Compass International.
