- Madonna of the Trail
Part historical monument, part roadside Americana, the Madonna of the Trail is a series of 12 identical monuments dedicated to the spirit of pioneer women in the United States. They were placed in each of twelve states from Maryland to California along the historic National Memorial Highway.

- Mrs. Asia 2007 Smita Salgaonkar
Mrs Smita Salgaonkar won the title Mrs. Asia-USA 2007. She is trained by California dance school “NDM Dance Productions” for that vigorous performance. This academy dance school assists her to understand the sharpness of dances and how to present her during dances. She is a wonderful dancer and enjoys it all time.

- Festival of the West Named Best Event in the Country
For the fourth year in a row, the National Festival of the West, has been honored as "The Best" Western Festival in the country by True West Magazine. The next edition of the classic event is set for March 15-18 at Rawhide, a recreated Western town located in Phoenix, Arizona.
