Media services portal brings on-demand digital cable TV experience to quad-play mobile services

LogicaCMG recently announced the sale of its Telecoms Products business to a consortium of private equity buyers, subject to employee consultation and regulatory approval. The Customized Entertainment Experience, powered by the LogicaCMG’s Media Services Portal, features ringtones, wallpapers and mobile music—as well as a comprehensive set of management tools that allow users to discover, purchase and access multimedia content.
Based on LogicaCMG’s established Media Services Portal, the Experience provides fully integrated content management, including both rights and device management—allowing the centralized storage and management of content across multiple devices such as mobile handsets, computers and IP-based home and business phone systems.
