Fairchild Semiconductor Wins EDN China’s Leading Products Innovation Award for Fourth Year in a Row

Fairchild’s FAN5355 digitally programmable Buck regulator was chosen as a leading product in the competitive Analog & Mixed Signal ICs category. Fairchild will receive this award at a ceremony in Shenzhen, China on November 6.
The FAN5355 is equipped with an I2C interface, allowing system design engineers to dynamically adjust the digital core’s power supply voltage, based on the processor workload. It consumes very low quiescent current and delivers ultra-fast transient response for Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS) platforms found in today’s cell phones, portable media players (PMPs) and other portable applications.
