New Seats, Lights And Sound System Among Upgrades For Double-A Baseball Team

[USPRwire, Mon May 03 2010] The Carolina Mudcats (www.carolinamudcats.com), Wake County’s hometown professional baseball team, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in the county by the addition of several upgrades in its Five County Stadium home. These include brand new green seats in the general admission section, which frame the stadium with a green border around all of the red that makes up the seating bowl, new lighting that provides a 40 percent increase covering the playing surface, and a state-of-the-art sound system that allows better acoustics throughout the park. The team is celebrating its previous seasons by highlighting important facts of the stadium’s history by year and making reference to notable players and events that occurred in that particular time frame through fact sheets and slideshows at each home game as well, in honor of the Mudcats being in North Carolina since 1991.
