Richport Properties Announces Grand Opening of Walking Trail at Stonecypher

Richport Properties recently celebrated the opening of the walking trail at Stonecypher in Suwanee with an official ribbon cutting ceremony. Special guests included Mayor Nick Masino and Carol Hassell, president of the Gwinnett Open Land Trust.

[USPRwire, Sat Sep 22 2007] Richport Properties recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the 1,440-foot Brushy Creek Trail at Stonecypher in Suwanee. The trail was constructed using tree mulch from the site, and is entirely within a conservation easement under the management of the Gwinnett Open Land Trust. The official ceremony was held at one of the two trail entrances on Tuesday, September 18 with special guests, Mayor Nick Masino and Carol Hassell, president of the Gwinnett Open Land Trust.
“We had a great turnout for the grand opening event and are thrilled that the trail is now open for homeowners to enjoy this fall,” said Lee Williams, Vice President of Community Development for Richport Properties. “We were excited to have several of the homeowners join us for the official ceremony as well as representatives from Absolute Landscape who installed the trail. It also meant a great deal to have Mayor Nick Masino and Carol Hassell there to share in this exciting moment.”
The trail opening event was fairly informal and consisted of a welcoming speech by Williams. He discussed the planning for the trail and recognized the hard work put into it by Absolute Landscape and appreciation for Hassell and others involved with the Gwinnett Open Land Trust. The Mayor praised the public/private cooperation which led to this trail opening, and Hassell emphasized the advantage that a permanently preserved natural area has for a community. After the speakers were finished, Mayor Masino, Hassell, Williams and Brad Jordan with Absolute Landscape joined together to cut the ribbon. Those in attendance were then invited to take a short tour of the trail and then meander up to the community pool where lunch and refreshments were served.
Located in Gwinnett County, Stonecypher features 14 different single-family plans to choose from which are priced from the $219,000s. The craftsman-style homes have covered front porches and rear- and front-entry garages. In addition, there are five townhome plans which are priced from the $175,000s and offer two to three bedrooms with two and one-half baths. All homes feature recessed can lighting in the kitchen and first floor hallway; double crown molding in the dining room; 42-inch kitchen cabinets; and a marble finished shower, tile floor and trey ceilings in the master bath. Many floor plans also offer a bonus room.
Interested homebuyers are encouraged to tour the newest model townhome at the community which features the Auburn floor plan with three bedrooms and two and one-half baths. In addition to the pool that just opened in the new phase, there are sidewalks that connect the homes and create an easy walk to PlayTown Suwanee and other Old Town Suwanee amenities, as well as a nature trail and six acres of natural conservation space.
Children at Stonecypher attend Level Creek Elementary, Lanier Middle and North Gwinnett High schools.
