[USPRwire, Wed Jul 25 2007] Heron Bay Golf & Country Club recently hosted a Business Booster Meet and Greet at the Heron Bay Lodge for its residents that own small businesses to network and get to know one another and exhibit their businesses to Heron Bay residents.

The event, like a mini-business expo, was attended by 25 different businesses. For the first hour of the event, business owners networked with one another. The remainder of the event was open to Heron Bay residents to peruse the displays of products and services of business owners. The event was organized by the Heron Bay social committee, which was formed in order to cultivate the sense of community within Heron Bay through regular events for residents of all ages

“At Heron Bay, we take pride in offering our residents benefits that they can only receive at Heron Bay,” said Lisa Brutvan, Marketing Director. “From the beautiful homes to fantastic amenities and community activities, Heron Bay is a one of a kind community offering a true community atmosphere.”

Paul Massenat, a resident of The Woodlands at Heron Bay works for Edward Jones Investments and sponsored a table at the event. “I participated in the Business Booster event because I support Heron Bay’s efforts to create a feeling of community and traditional values among the residents. The event was a great success, it was an interesting opportunity to meet fellow entrepreneurial neighbors and showed me what a wonderful and diverse community I work and play in,” said Massenat.

Participating businesses donated raffle prizes for a drawing that was held at the conclusion of the event. The top two prizes were two tickets to the Georgia Aquarium donated by AAA Auto Club South and an IPOD donated by D.R. Horton Builders.

To visit Heron Bay, take I-75 South to Exit 216. Turn right and proceed five miles to Heron Bay Golf & Country Club. Heron Bay is on the right.
