w.o.m.e.n., EO Aligns With Children's Hospital of Atlanta
The effort is the first of several campaigns planned by w.o.m.e.n., EO to raise the level of community awareness around the group's concerns. Their mission includes empowering, encouraging and enlightening individuals, community groups, and businesses nationwide.
[USPRwire, Fri Oct 19 2007] In their quest to make an impact with youth, nationwide, w.o.m.e.n., EO has joined hands in a philanthropic alliance with Children's Hospital of Atlanta. Under the agreement, the Atlanta's chapter women's group children's ministry is donating $700.00 to the hospital to support its vision and services. w.o.m.e.n., EO supports selected education, advocacy, and service programs across the country.
The fund raising campaign for w.o.m.e.n., EO began this past summer. The group's national president and CEO, Demetra "Dee Dee" Reid, led the platform with excitement and enthusiasm. “Our organization is delighted to have the opportunity to support the mission and training of Children's Hospital of Atlanta," commented Reid. "w.o.m.e.n., EO is honored to participate in this exciting and inspiring outreach and is thrilled to be a part of the delivery of services."
