TRADISMOKE: NEW BEECHWOOD SMOKE FLAVORING FROM NACTIS FOR FLAVOR FORMULATION

[USPRwire, Mon May 24 2010] Nactis recently developed a patented system for the production of beechwood-extracted liquid smoke flavorings under the brand name Tradismoke™. These products reproduce the flavor of traditional wood smoke and are adapted for all types of flavor applications: atomization, steeping, incorporation, and more.


With Tradismoke™, Nactis Group joins the small circle of smoke condensate producers. The idea was simple: to imitate the French traditional smoking process developing a new technology and using beechwood chips. Widely used in the smoking of meat and fish all over Europe, beechwood gives a full-bodied taste, less acidic than that of hickory or mesquite.

Nactis's new patent process enables a strict pyrolisis-temperature control to maintain a low amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbure and to skip the filtration step, thus retaining the aromatic fraction and the traditional and natural taste of smoke.

Tradismoke is available in different carriers to best fit the application including spraying, direct addition, flavor formulation, etc. From bacon and salmon to BBQ sauce or snacks, this flavor can add a twist to the standard in liquid smoke flavor.
