Fine Corsican Cheeses from Fromagerie Ottavi (Z053)
Coming to Summer Fancy Food Show, New York, June 28-30, booth 728
[USPRwire, Wed May 06 2009] Fromagerie Ottavi has a deep history in cheese-making in Corsica. Many generations of the Ottavi family have lived in the shepherd tradition in the Corsican mountains, raising sheep and goats. The company offers a wide range of traditional hard and soft cheeses that are rich in regional flavor. At the Summer Fancy Food Show 2009, the company will present its newest products: a grated ewe's milk cheese and a flavorful spread of combined goat's milk and ewe's milk cheeses.
Fromagerie Ottavi also makes:
• Goat's milk cheese
• Ewe’s milk cheeses: tomme de brebis and softer cheese
• A strong spread, mixing goat and ewe cheese
• Mild cheese spread
• Bruccio, the only Corsican AOC cheese
Fromagerie Ottavi, which was set up in 1948, is a family-owned company that employs 25 staff. It combines its modern structure and facilities with its traditional savoir-faire, producing excellent, quality artisan cheeses.
