At the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York this June, the company will highlight its flagship product: the traditional Corsican biscuit called "Canistrelli."

Corsica, also known as the mountain in the sea with its location in the heart of the Mediterranean, is preserved from pollution and has a number of national parks and preserves that are declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. This island, already known by the ancient Greeks as Kallisté (the most beautiful), is called today "L’Île de Beauté," Island of Beauty. Corsica has given birth to famous men like Pascal Paoli and Napoleon Bonaparte. This island has shaped people of character who are devoted to their values, their traditions and the transmission of their know-how.

A prime example of this heritage is the traditional Corsican biscuit called Canistrelli, the jewel of this land's gastronomical heritage.

Building on this tradition, two brothers from the Fenech family founded the Biscuiterie d’Afa in 1983, using family recipes and thus creating a genuine link across generations.
