New Children’s Book Release - The Tale of the Little Duckling

Grit Weinstein and Miranda O’Shea have just launched a new children’s book for ages 4 to 8 titled The Tale of the Little Duckling - Who Am I and Where do I Belong?

[USPRwire, Thu Jul 08 2010] Grit Weinstein and Miranda O’Shea have just launched a new children’s book titled The Tale of the Little Duckling - Who Am I and Where do I Belong?

It is a heart-warming story of a little duckling trying to find her own identity while meeting some wonderful friends along the way. The book is for children ages 4 to 8 and is full of color illustrations of the duckling’s journey.

“I’ve always wanted to write a children’s story that not only entertains, but always leaves the child with important life lessons. I think The Tale of the Little Duckling has accomplished this,” stated the author, Grit Weinstein.

About the author:
Grit Weinstein was born and raised in Germany. After finishing her education as a nurse, she moved to Zurich, Switzerland where she lived and worked as a nurse for more than 12 years. She has a passion for reading, art and children. She is working on a series of children books. She is married to Lt. Col. Bob Weinstein, USAR-Ret, also known as the Health Colonel, and resides with him in South Florida.

About the illustrator:
Miranda O’Shea was raised in Rome, Italy for most of her early years. She has had a mixed education with a combination of Italian and English. From Rome, Miranda went on to further her studies in England, and studied fashion design. She then went on to Santa Barbara, California to study fine art and multimedia. She has had her own greeting card business photographing architectural views around parts of the globe. She resides in South Florida with her boyfriend Gidon and has a line of baby t-shirts with her colorful illustrations.
