[USPRwire, Mon Sep 25 2006] With the first leg of the Generation S.N.A.P. Outstanding Tour of Georgia complete, Mr. Daron D. Barker, and Professor A. Coach Powell of Parentpoints, Inc. and the Human Motivation Council both divisions of PT Global Concepts, are encouraged by the resounding appreciation expressed by students and faculty alike.

Eight APS Elementary and Middle Schools enjoyed fun, music, laughter, and a Life skills lesson they'll never forget! The presentations were conducted by Professor Alfred “Coach” Powell of New York Stony Brook University and The All New America’s Dad, Mr. Daron D. Barker inventor of The Points Method™ Parenting System. Their generous $35,420 donation of FREE services, book scholarships, and pizza parties were greatly appreciated by students and faculty.

The Generation S.N.A.P. Outstanding Tour of Atlanta was a big success in fostering a renewed spirit of outstanding expectation, effort and accomplishment. The campaign will visit several states in 2006-2007 to deliver the message that parents, educators and community leaders must work together to S.N.A.P. the potential locked within our children and inspire them to strive toward academic achievement.

“We know this movement is needed,” says Barker. “We know it’s timely. Students need the extra stimulation and encouragement we provide so they’ll understand how to address and remove the excess noise that blocks their motivation to learn. In our presentation, we do some fun exercises that help expose those barriers for what they are, and we show students how to knock them right out of the way. That’s what Generation S.N.A.P. is all about, stimulating natural analytic processes in a SNAP.”

To kick off, HMC visited the following APS schools this week.

• Bolton Academy
• Coan Middle School
• Fickett Elementary School
• Ralph Johnson Bunche Middle School
• Peyton Forest Elementary School
• Harper-Archer Middle School
• Kimberly Elementary School
• Crawford Long Middle School

Coach Powell said, “Some school officials were concerned because our program is an hour long. They were worried that the children wouldn’t sit still for that long.” He laughed. “The children were bright, energetic, and thoroughly engaged the whole time. Not only were the children engaged, but so were their teachers!”

The $1000 book scholarship recipients were Teanna Glass of Crawford W. Long Middle School, Christina Durden, Zanquavious Parks, Kenyetta Turner, Alveraze Norris, Wachovia Watkins of Coan Middle School, and Jordan Bibbs, Shonda Jenkins, Devonta Dixon of Harper-Archer Middle School.

Congratulations to all the students who won prizes during the initial leg of the tour, including book scholarships, pizza parties, and gift bags containing the new Outstanding motivational CD.

Here are the words to the song, so you can sing along when you hear a student playing it:

F – Fly my way to a D
D – Dig my way to a C
C – See my way to a B
B – Bounce my way to an A
A – Always leads to an O
O – O equals outstanding!
