Leslie Moeller To Speak To 2009 Graduating Class
[USPRwire, Fri May 22 2009] Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school at Trinity Academy of Raleigh (www.trinityacademy.com), a preK-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, has announced that Leslie Moeller, chairwoman of the Society for Classical Learning (SCL) and publisher of the society’s quarterly magazine The Journal, will address the academy’s graduating class at its baccalaureate. The ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 22 at the Ledford Center, located at 120 S. Wingate St. in Wake Forest. The graduation ceremony will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 23 at Wake Forest Baptist Church located, at 107 E. South Ave. in Wake Forest.
Moeller received her Bachelor of Arts in English literature and economics from the University of Virginia, and her Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. She practiced corporate civil litigation law before turning her focus to education. Moeller is passionate about opening students’ eyes to their God-given potential and challenging them to think. She has served on two different school boards; taught literature, debate and drama; and served as Head of School. Moeller currently serves as chairwoman of the Board of Geneva School of Boerne, Texas along with her SCL duties.
