Trinity Academy Of Raleigh Announces 2009 Valedictorian And Salutatorian

Kelsey Stoner And Emma Holland Receive School’s Top Marks

[USPRwire, Tue May 19 2009] Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school at Trinity Academy of Raleigh (www.trinityacademy.com), a preK-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, has announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for the academy’s graduating class of 2009. Kelsey Stoner has been named the schools valedictorian and Emma Holland has been named salutatorian.

Post-graduation, Stoner will attend Stamford University in the fall and plans to major in music education. During her senior year at Trinity, she made two service trips to Haiti, where she operated a vacation Bible school and a soccer camp for orphaned and abandoned children. Stoner was a member of Trinity’s varsity soccer team for all four years of high school and was active in performing arts.

Holland will attend Stamford in the fall as well, and will major in musical theater. Holland served as Service Prefect at Trinity during her senior year and organized a trip for her classmates to live in Uganda for a month. While in Uganda, Holland helped to rebuild a vocational school for orphaned Ugandan girls, most of whom were HIV positive. She helped to install a solar panel on the building, only the second to reach the village. Active in performing arts, Holland produced, directed and choreographed numerous productions throughout her high school career.
