[USPRwire, Thu Nov 29 2007] Kent Keith, President and CEO of the Greenleaf Center for Servant-Leadership has announced that the Center is now partnering with the Ken Blanchard Executive MBA program to provide scholarships to members of the Greenleaf Center who wish to pursue a Ken Blanchard Executive MBA.

Mr. Keith confirmed, “We are delighted to announce that the Ken Blanchard Executive MBA program is offering a scholarship for Greenleaf Center Partners. Dr. Ken Blanchard is known throughout the world as an advocate of servant-leadership, which receives significant attention in his recent book, Leading at a Higher Level. He has spoken at the Greenleaf Center annual conference and has been a frequent contributor to Greenleaf Center anthologies. The one year Executive MBA program is a blended learning approach featuring both online and in-person learning that is ideally suited for today's busy executives.”

Ryan Lunsford, Ph.D., Director of the Ken Blanchard Executive MBA program, explains the difference between the KBEMBA program and other MBA programs, “The Ken Blanchard program focuses on Servant-Leadership. The Servant-Leadership philosophy is the foundation of effective leadership for a variety of organizations around the world and is a cornerstone of our program. Servant-Leadership is an unusual cross-functional approach to leadership that addresses the conflicting desires of organizations, employees, customers and executives in order to strike a positive balance for everyone. Humility and acknowledgement of the importance of the greater good are two key elements of this unique leadership approach.”

Dr. Blanchard, who designed and leads his signature Executive MBA program, is a member of the Greenleaf Advisory Board and has been a frequent contributor to Greenleaf conferences and publications. His unique Executive MBA program, offered through Grand Canyon University, focuses on Servant-Leadership, the corporate leadership philosophy first espoused by the late Robert K. Greenleaf. The Executive MBA program is a blend of online learning and face-to-face learning with Dr. Blanchard and national business leaders such as Southwest Airlines President Colleen Barrett and five-time bestselling author Harvey Mackay. Included in the program are three four-day residency sessions held throughout the year in Phoenix, Arizona and San Diego, California.
