John. S. Brana’s newest Lily Pad collection features uniquely crafted earrings that are hand-colored with bright patinas and shaped to evoke the designs of Mother Nature.

[USPRwire, Wed Jan 13 2010] John S. Brana’s latest Muir Woods Lily Pad earring collection features beautiful, lightweight, and colorful pieces inspired by none other than Mother Nature. Reminiscent of leaves one would find floating on the surface of a pond, reflective in their hand-crafted shape and unique in their coloring, the earrings are classified as works of art available at accessible price points. The artist’s fine original designs and detailed pieces set the collection a part from the crowd, ranking them as best sellers in both New York and the Bay Area.

Brana states, “My latest designs and color choices are inspired by the Koi pond in my garden; the bright fish whose colors reflect under the water in oranges and reds and the lily pads that float above them in greens and turquoise influence my creative decisions and what I design in my studio.” Brana uses materials that reflect his natural eye: all earrings in this collection are made of handcrafted copper, aluminum, and sterling silver leaves, enhanced with red, orange, and turquoise patinas that add one of a kind color and texture.

The pieces vary in size as well, including two and three-inch single leaf earrings, as well as one-inch single leaves and three-tiered designs. The artist will soon be adding tiered pendants, graduated leaf necklaces and charm bracelets to add to the collection, and is experimenting with color as well as texture. John S. Brana creates all of his jewelry by hand in his studio in San Francisco.
