Mezco Releases Living Dead Doll Art Prints In Time For Halloween Art Show

Mezco Toyz releases a set of fine art prints showing the popular Living Dead Dolls at play, just in time for Halloween and their October 31st art show.

[USPRwire, Sat Oct 21 2006] For the first time in their history, Mezco Toyz is releasing a set of fine art limited edition prints. Long coveted by fans of the popular Living Dead Dolls, the print is a reproduction of an untitled Living Dead Doll painting done by celebrated artist Louis Russomanno, who’s works are part of the permanent collection of the New Jersey State Museum and numerous private collections throughout the United States and Canada. The image depicts numerous Living Dead Dolls at play in a cemetery under the light of a full moon. The image is the subject of two print editions; a 130 print 11x14 inch Grand Edition which is signed by the artist along with Michael “Mez” Markowitz, Ed Long, and Damien Glonek, and a smaller 666 piece Demi Edition which is 8x10 inches and unsigned. Although Russomanno’s prints usually sell in and $350.00 and higher bracket (with originals selling for $3000.00 and up), Mezco is, through a special arrangement, selling both editions for less than $150.00 each exclusively at http://www.mezcotoyz.com/email/md_10-13-06.html .

The prints are part of a special collection of memorabilia being produced especially for the Living Dead Doll Art Show, which runs from November 1st-14th at New York's famous designer toy gallery "The Showroom NYC". Previously, all Living Dead Dolls have been designed by Ed Long, Damien Glonek and Michael "Mez" Markowitz; this upcoming art show invites over 100 artists to design, interpret and explore their own dark vision of the Living Dead Dolls.

About Living Dead Dolls: Brought forth from the twisted minds and tortured souls of Ed Long, Damien Glonek and Michael "Mez” Markowitz, the Living Dead Dolls brand has grown to be a creepy collectable of worldwide fame. With over 60 unique characters, 6 different doll lines, apparel, games, stationary, glassware, trading cards and more, Living Dead Dolls has infested the hearts and minds of many building a large international fan following.
