Wild Snow Leopards Get Boost from Apple’s Snow Leopard OS Launch

Independent Apple Specialist Dealers across North America are using the launch of the new Mac OS to help save the endangered snow leopard

[USPRwire, Thu Aug 27 2009] Wild snow leopards are getting help from another kind of snow leopard: the new Mac OS X. Apple Specialists Marketing Corp, a trade organization of over 100 independently owned Apple Specialist dealers, is gearing up for the launch of the new Apple operating system, dubbed “Snow Leopard,” by helping to raise money for snow leopards in the wild.

Customers who come in to purchase the new OS from participating Apple Specialists will also have the chance to make a donation to the Snow Leopard Trust, or purchase a snow leopard cub adoption kit at a specially-reduced price. There are as few as 3,500 snow leopards left in the wild throughout Central Asia. The Snow Leopard Trust, based out of Seattle, is the world leader in snow leopard research and conservation.
