Entertainment portal featuring two online streaming radio stations, (Independent Music and Kids Radio), music videos, short films, games and photo gallery gets a makeover.
[USPRwire, Mon Oct 09 2006] Most new major websites are launched after a lot of thought and planning. They’re designed for functionality and easy navigation. Which was exactly the way Boost Digital.com was when established just a year ago.
At that time the main offerings to its website visitors were a professionally produced online streaming radio station which featured new independent music submitted by talented music makers from around the world plus some short films, also from indie artists.
Since that time Boost Digital.com has grown both in stature and content. The site now features not one but two online stations...the original Boost Digital Radio and now Boost DigitalKids...probably the best kids radio (aimed at 2 – 6 years olds) in the world.
Other attractions include the original short films section, music videos, a digital photo gallery where creative photography submissions are exhibited and online games.
Plus Boost Digital has launched a competition for school students worldwide. Fresh Express Group www.freshexpress.com.au ,providers of healthy choice school and college canteen food and service, is sponsoring the “Boost-Digital Student Online Arts Festival”, which carries a prize of AU$2,000 in each of three categories – music, music video and short film, making a total cash prize of AU$6,000. (Approx. US$4,500)
Still to come is the MP3 Direct Online Store which will offer for download favourites from the best of the best independent artists on the planet, from Rock, Rap, Urban, Country Techno, Dance, Classical, Pop ,kids and other genres. All of which are heard on the two Boost Digital online radio stations.
There’ll be a choice of purchasing either single tracks or an entire album. The artists concerned will be given a generous percentage share of the income from these sales.
“The problem was, as we added all these new attractions, the site became more and more cluttered and complex. Even I had a problem navigating through it to find what I wanted,” Boost Digital Group CEO Graeme Logan explains.
“It was obvious we had to go back to the drawing board and do a total redesign. This has now been done and I have to congratulate our web designers for doing a great job recreating the site as something we at Boost Digital can be very proud of.”
Boost Digital lays claim to being the first and only on-line entertainment network portal of its kind and now it’s looking even better.
