Thompson & Knight Attorney Elected to Writers' League of Texas Board of Directors
Michael W. Stockham has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Writers’ League of Texas.
[USPRwire, Sun Feb 10 2008] The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that Michael W. Stockham has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Writers’ League of Texas. He will serve a three-year term, which began in January 2008.
Stockham is an Associate in Thompson & Knight’s Trial Practice Group and is a member of the Firm’s Securities and Corporate Governance Litigation Practice Specialty Group. He focuses his complex business litigation practice on corporate and shareholder rights, director and officer litigation, securities litigation, and class actions defense. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School in 2002; his M.A. in English and Creative Writing from Texas A&M University in 1995; and his B.A. in Creative Writing, cum laude, from the University of New Mexico in 1992. He is resident in the Firm’s Dallas office.

The organization focuses on providing a forum for information, support, and sharing among writers; helping members improve and market their writing skills; and promoting the interests of writers and the writing community.
