Steam Cleaning Machines Save on Disposable Parts

Daimer® plans to offer $2.50 detail bristle brushes for its KleenJet® Ultra 8365C that meet or exceed performance of $20 brushes sold by the competition.

[USPRwire, Wed Sep 22 2010] Daimer Industries®, Inc., established as a major supplier of cleaning components and equipment, has now shipped $2.50 small bristle brushes for its KleenJet® Ultra 8365C steam cleaning machines. The small bristle, or detail, brushes are have been manufactured to match the quality of brushes sold by competing sources for nearly $20.

"Buyers of steam cleaning machines focus primarily on the machine prices and mistakenly overlook post-sales costs related to disposable parts," explained cleaning machines spokesman Matthew Baratta of Daimer.com. "Our 8365C brush components are designed to maintain quality and lower overall costs to our institutional customers."

Daimer® has said that that disposable detail brushes can represent nearly 95 percent of a customer's after-purchase costs. Institutional customers can go through 100 or more brushes over a machine's complete operating lifespan. For the 8365C 100 brushes would cost $250 if bought from Daimer®. Comparable brushes from other suppliers could cost nearly $2000, or 8 times as much.

Daimer®'s 8365C steam cleaning machines can utilize brushes in three bristle designs. Steel-designed brushes maximize scraping efficiency for the toughest applications, such as the cleaning institutional stoves and grills. Brass designs are geared toward moderate scraping projects. Nylon-designed brushes offer minimal abrasion for fragile surfaces and finishes.

The 8365C Steam Cleaning Machines

The 8365C steam cleaning machines are manufactured to reduce cost of ownership. The machines are based around no-rust boilers that are warranted for the life of the machine. The housings and covers are steel, and electrical components are protected from water by IPX5 water seals. A proprietary-designed heating rod configuration allows for quick replacement of a single part in case of malfunction. The remaining parts of these steam cleaners are guaranteed for 3 years.

The steam cleaning machines include pressure levels rated for 120 psi and temperatures rated for 329ºF.
