Hope Church releases next video in the "i am Hope" series
The "i am Hope" video series is a collection of ordinary folks who happen to attend Hope Church. They are interviewed about what church had meant to them growing up, and what it means now that they are a part of Hope.
[USPRwire, Fri Sep 10 2010] On Sunday, September 12th, Hope Church, in Richmond, Virginia, will release the next video in its video series entitled "i am Hope". This will be the fifth video in the series.
The "i am Hope" project is a collection of interviews with individuals or families who consider themselves to be a part of Hope Church. The interviewees answer questions about what their life with God and the church was as a child, and what it is like now that they are a part of Hope.
So far the folks interviewed have included a man with a heavy church background who later found freedom from "rules", a family with young children, a young man with a past history of sleeping in the back of church, and a single mom of twins who found out that having a group of people willing to help can make all the difference in the world.
The series is being well-recieved, and serves as a poignant reminder that Hope Church is made up of real, flawed people, and not a polished group of perfect families.
This video series is serving as the kickoff to the plan for the next five years at Hope. The leadership envisions an "owner-operator" mentality in the people who call Hope Church their home, rather than a place to simply come and hear a nice sermon and then leave.
The entire "i am Hope" video series can be viewed at Hope Church's website, at:

Future installments of the series will be coming every other Sunday through October 24.
