Dallas’ Cowles & Thompson Promotes Appellate Attorney Henry to Shareholder
Appellate attorney Byron Henry has been promoted to Shareholder at the Dallas-based law firm of Cowles & Thompson, P.C.
[USPRwire, Mon Mar 08 2010] The Dallas-based law firm Cowles & Thompson, P.C., is pleased to announce that attorney Byron Henry has been named a shareholder in the firm’s Appellate Law section.
Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Henry focuses his practice on business litigation and civil appeals. He also is a regular contributor to reverserandrender.com, the Appellate Practice Group’s blog, which includes summaries of recent appellate decisions, notices about news and events that impact appellate practitioners, including relevant continuing education seminars, proposed changes to the rules of appellate procedure, and appellate section meetings.

Mr. Henry serves on the Dallas Bar Association’s Judiciary and Fee Dispute committees. He is active in the Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas, and currently serves as treasurer of the Dallas Bar Association’s Appellate Section and chair of the Collin County Bar Association’s Appellate Section. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 1997, and his undergraduate degree from Howard Payne University in 1994.
