Judges choose art winners at Sutton Middle and Northside High schools

Bouléy was joined by fellow judges Robert Wilson of Jumpstart Your Meeting, Tennent Neville of the Buckhead Library, Shaika Mahdi of Mahdi Creations and fine artist Leroy Campbell.

The judges took time from their work schedules to review artworks and literature created by students in grades seven through 12. The five winners from the two schools will compete at the citywide level. Winners from that competition will advance to the state level for judging and potentially on to the national level.
Sponsored by the National PTA, Reflections is an arts recognition program that provides children in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 with the opportunity to express themselves through the arts. Now in its 38th year, the Reflections program attracts an average of 700,000 participants from across the country. Students compete in any of six areas: literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts, dance choreography and film/video production.
