Independent Imperato agrees with Rubio regarding Crist’s apparent cross-over.

In Florida we have several worthy independents running for state positions. Tom Stearns running for CFO. Lewis J. Armstrong for state senate in Jacksonville. Daniel Imperato endorses both these individuals and have recommended that Independent America – a national PAC that he co-founded – endorse these individuals.

[USPRwire, Mon Aug 16 2010] Daniel Imperato, independent for Florida Governor, made the point a few weeks ago that the oil spill generated nothing but negative media. He accused Governor Charlie Crist of riding a media wave showing him acting like he was governing Florida through the crises. “Marco Rubio concurs with me that the media blitz hurt tourism in the Panhandle. So Governor Charlie had to pull out the big guns and bring Obama to try to help us rescue the damage to our tourism. Combined with Crist attending a fundraiser with Senator Harry Reid it is apparent that Crist is already prepared to shelve his true independence to caucus with the majority party.

“I have worked tirelessly to bring a true independent party to the White House. That's my commitment to the people of the United States. I see it as a guiding principle laid down by George Washington and the Founding Fathers. They warned against the proliferation and power of political parties.

Early on I supported Crist as an independent, but now I guess we will see his true colors. In the meantime I continue to reach out to true independents running across the country. Here in Florida we have several worthy independents running for state positions. Tom Stearns running for CFO. Lewis J. Armstrong for state senate in Jacksonville. I endorse both these individuals and have recommended that Independent America – a national PAC that I co-founded – endorse these individuals.”

The Imperato team has reached out to Rubio to team up in restoring panhandle tourism. They are now awaiting a response.
